This app cost me all of my original photos, 21 years worth of memories and fun times with my cat Kelly aka Fatta , now I’m finding out that I have lost all the memories I had to look back on of her. I got her when I was 5 I had her until a few months before I turned 26, she was a year old when we got her, I’ve now lost priceless memories and photos and am now finding out that the support team might not even try to help me fix it either. You should be ashamed of yourselves for stealing never to be made again memories of my first pet/ also was literally my first child, you have erased her from existence and should be ashamed of yourselves

This app is good for getting clips if you’re an editor. The bad things is that you can’t get up to a certain amount of downloads or just clips because it then says that your storage is full. It scams you basically for not even getting that much clips and basically tries to force you to buy more storage. And after I deleted almost all my clips my storage went down but it still continues to not let me save the clips to my photos because of having no space even tho I had like 20 GB of space to fill up? Not really that good if you want to get clips because you’re an editor like me.

It appears something has changed, and as a result, all the videos that I’ve been uploading no longer have any sound, it appears to have been removed. i’m seeing Contant creators uploading videos that have no sound as well. I suspect the browser but wasn’t sure. I’m seeing this in other places to. changes to browsers that are affecting devices on the consumers end in a very negative way. there’s lots of glitching and programs that are not working. are we under the comprehensive cyber attack predicted by Charles Schwab? Because it sure looks like somebody’s making some big changes. this all began a few months ago with the browsers then it spread to the keyboard and other devices. There have been what I can only describe as satellites caught on video burning up, falling back to earth wasn’t sure if it’s a communication satellite or not. there have been a lot of them burning up falling back to earth, but spread out overtime since 2015. It’s been a regular occurrence but nobody’s caught on. But as of right now, I cannot use this app. I’ve uploaded the recent update, but it hasn’t fixed the issue. Just trying to give you guys an idea what we’re seeing here. Thanks i’m being bombarded with messages to upgrade that I’m running out of memory, but it won’t let me upgrade. it won’t even show me the options. not sure what that’s about. it doesn’t show the hard drive amount. I canceled my subscription hoping that would clear whatever it is but it won’t show hard drive choices alongside the plans. as of right now, my account is canceled.

Please stop adding toolbars, before you know it the app will be as unusable as the website.

The latest update was yesterday and it says bugs were fixed but unfortunately bugs that weren’t even there begin with r now here and it’s not loading when I try to sign in or even log in, please fix this cuz I need it like asap ty very much. I still love it tho ty

Mega just deleted 820GB of science data of a renown scientist that cost over $200,000 to compile with out any warning. They won’t even respond to support requests looking for answers. As Kim Dot Com said, “Mega is no longer trustworthy.” If you use them, have a 3-2-1 backup strategy because your data could be gone without warning. Also, who actually owns the company?

For me ONLY sometimes, idk if this is anyone else, but no matter if they update it to fix things and bugs, it will tell me i dont have enough disk space to download a video when I very clearly have more than enough. Idk if this is just a me problem or not but its been happening to my sister too. Love this app tho if u want to get it, then I recommend getting it. Im not saying its a bad app.

For the love of God, please fix the sort by feature. Since the most recent update, the sort by feature has been completely broken. Sorting by favorites simply just doesn’t work anymore. And that’s not to mention that for well over a year now, sorting of any kind automatically makes folders be sorted by name, even though that’s *NOT* how I want them sorted. Jesus Christ just please go back to how it was.

Videos not uploading in my camer roll

When i open a mega file the files are in there but the videos or pictures are not in there fix pls

The app literally just doesn’t even load up, I try to open it and it just sits on a black screen with the M symbol forever. Can’t even use it to give it a rating.

I don’t have any need for these photos to be dated and it very annoying to keep them organized the I want them to be organized

Gonna have to be 1* for injecting a lazy ad banner onto the bottom of the screen (for the second time) and having a daily-refreshing notice to buy more storage if you're above ~90%.

What did the developers do to this app.. it doesn’t even work anymore, nothing loads or downloads. Now with ads too. Gotta love when a reputable company becomes greedy

I am an editor, I use this app to download scene packs FOR FREE. And I cant even download anything anymore without getting a “Transfer Quota” I am not looking to pay for anything and it’s irritating to wait maybe an hour for downloading js to wait 4 more hours because of transfer quota. Please give us more time on the app bc i was downloading my scene pack for maybe 30 mins. I was not half way done downloading, and the transfer quota is making me wait 4 hours before i can continue downloading. by the time my download completes it would be the next day already, who waits over a day for a scene pack?

After recent update app will freeze

One of the least user-friendly apps I’ve ever used. Tried downloading a few videos. They just disappear once they say they’re complete. Don’t know where they go. The app isn’t laid out well for finding anything. I paid for a 1 year subscription, but got logged out. Tried logging back in, but since I forgot my password, they won’t let me back in. Wasted $100 for an hour of trying to use this app. And I can’t get a refund. Don’t use this app. It’s not worth it.

i used to use this app around 10 years ago with no issue, but now they’ve turned greedy. i’ve been attempting to download a 2gb video for over 7 hours with NO luck. Mega now only allows you to download 1GB per hour unless you spend $10 on more storage. i decided to wait the hour and when i went to resume downloading, it didn’t do anything and just quoted me for ANOTHER hour of wait time. this happened twice in a row. i decided to take a 2 hour nap while waiting and when i came back to it, ALL of my download progress was gone and i was left with nothing. you can only download 1GB every hour, but it deletes ALL of your download progress after 30 minutes. just wasted over 7 hours of my time, this app is now useless

there’s some weird links sent that come from this app, i wouldn’t recommend it for your sanity

Inicie cuando daban 50gb gratis y desde entonces uso la app que habia mejorado notablemente y reproduce ahora mejor que nunca. Tengo más problemas compartiendo y cargando las canciones ahora y eso me forzó abrir otra cuenta para ver si era un problema de mega. Me toco borrar la mitad de las carpetas y volver a subirlas. Después me bloquearon la cuenta sin razón usando mi clave y clave correcta… Ahora la app tiene adicionalmente propagandas! Así que ahora está EMPEORANDO

can’t reset password, i don’t have my key. if you are able to send an email to me, you should let me reset my password. i shouldn’t have to use a key that i don’t have. i cannot make a new account since it says “already have an account with this email.” change it so you don’t need a key.

This is genuinely a great app for file storage, but the drawback is something I cannot ignore, there is constant buffering, I will only get a few seconds of watching the file I need to review and it just buffers for 20 seconds, I wouldn’t be this mad over buffering, but it happens every four seconds

this app has given me countless problems over the years i wish i could stop using it but it seems to be the default in the market for this kind of thing and everything else works worse so im stuck with this. it’s always a gamble on whether it’ll download my file or not. or if it’ll decide to kick up some other issue. im so tired of it god i could complain all day about these stupid glitches that never seem to get fully patched and once one does another one pops up

I was downloading something and the transfer quota thing popped up. I waited my time to get more quota, but your app wanted to give me an extra hour. Now what’s up with that? Fix your bugs to where I wait the amount of time I was given and not an extra hour of time.

Every month it’s the exact same problem. Apple charges me for the subscription but it never shows on mega that it has processed. Right now it shows that I haven’t paid in eleven days when I have the apple receipt that shows I payed it already weeks ago. Don’t know what the issue is but if it continues might have to jump ship to google because this is very annoying,

No massive amounts of Metadata to have to pay for besides the Files you actually have Stored in Mega are what you pay for with Mega. Your 25 MB File is around 25 MB and Mega eats the cost of all the handling and Metadata associated with that File. With Google they shove all those costs onto you and so your 25 MB File is costing you a Gigabyte or more in time with the scads of Metadata Google uses to handle your File added to your Bills. That’s just one difference. Try finding one of your Files in Google Drive. It can take you days if ever you find your File there. In Mega it’s right there in front of your face as you scroll for it. If Searching for it it shows right up. Try that with Google Drive. Google Search in Google Drive couldn’t find itself to save its life. You get much more for your money with Mega too. A fabulous VPN that works like gangbusters. Maybe the very best Commercial VPN out there. An encrypted Chat where you can securely talk about and show Files in Private with a customer or friend. There is a Camera function inside Mega where you can be in a folder and shoot a photo or video and it’s stored now in that Folder. All kinds of cool things come with Mega. Mega works flawlessly on every device I have from iPad & iPhone to bleeding edge Debian Testing Linux to Android and works through Web Browser if all else is unavailable. The efficiency is incredible. Files upload and download faster than anything else. I’m amazed when I can be downloading a File off the Internet of say 25 MB from somewhere and see it slowly coming down. Another 25 MB File I need again from my Mega when I download afterwards soon passes that other File up and is complete in my downloads Folder while that other is just finishing up! I don’t even look at other Cloud Storage anymore. For me it’s a no brainer ( I have 4 TBI ) and I go with Mega always. I get a lot for my money so I don’t mind paying for this great Cloud Storage.

I wish it didn’t crash as often

shuts down every 4 minutes. when i return to the my 85 hour audio file, it takes me back to 0:00 so i have to try and move the teeny tiny red dot to the right spot. otherwise i have to press the 15 second forward button hundreds of times!

High quality, lots of free space, well encrypted!!!! If cloud space ever comes up in conversation I always talk about and highly recommend MEGA!!! The app makes sense so whoever designed it must use it!!! I have had MEGA for several years now and never once have I thought about finding something different!!! 5 stars for sure!!!!!

Most useless app ever

Ive been using this app for 4+ years and its audio file playing ability has ALWAYS been terrible. absolutely useless if you want to stream audio files or videos, even. It feels like there’s a new bug with this every month. Every update they fix one bug and introduce another terrible one. Again, it’s been YEARS. On another note, Mega is ABYSMAL if your Wi-Fi is even slightly less than perfect. Videos and audio files take unreasonably long to load if they aren’t downloaded. This has been an issue forever. Also the fake storage you get when you first download the app (that lasts for a month before disappearing) is MORONIC. Why in the world would you give a new user storage they can only use for 30 days? Just to make them fork up some money? ALSO you can’t delete chats or group chats, you’re constantly prompted to upgrade when you open the app, and uploading directly from the photos app takes longer than doing it in-app for no reason. Devs don’t care about anything.
